A wedding IV drip in Khao Lak can be a calm, practical way to look after yourself and your guests during a busy wedding week. Our registered nurses come to your hotel, villa or home anywhere in our Khao Lak service area, so nobody has to leave the celebrations. We plan visits around your schedule, from the days before the ceremony to the morning after the party.
Who wedding drips are for
- The couple, in the days before the wedding, when nerves, heat and long to-do lists leave little time to drink properly
- The bridal party and groomsmen, as a relaxed group session in a villa or suite
- Guests arriving after long flights from Europe or Australia
- Anyone feeling drained by the tropical heat, or after a welcome party that went on longer than planned
- Couples and guests on the day after the wedding, before travelling on

How group visits work around a wedding schedule
Weddings run to tight timetables, so it helps to plan early. Here is how a group visit usually works. For the general details on booking for several people, see our page on IV drips for groups in Khao Lak.

- Message us early. Tell us the wedding dates, roughly how many people are interested, where everyone is staying and which days suit you. We will let you know what we can arrange.
- Choose the timing. The day before the wedding and the morning after are popular. We don’t recommend squeezing a drip in just before the ceremony, when hair, make-up and photos are running and nobody can sit still.
- Everyone is screened individually. Each person has their own health screening before their drip. Being part of a group never means skipping it, and the nurse may advise that a drip isn’t right for someone.
- The nurse stays throughout. Drips use sterile, single-use equipment, and a registered nurse stays with the group the whole time.
One practical tip: a small bruise or mark where the needle went in is possible. If you plan to wear a sleeveless dress or want spotless arms in photos, mention it to the nurse and leave a day or two between your drip and the ceremony.
Popular choices for couples and guests
Hydration. A simple fluid and electrolyte drip is the most common request in the heat. It may help you feel rehydrated faster if you have been struggling to keep up with drinking.

The morning after. A wedding hangover drip in Thailand is a common search after a big night. A drip may help you feel more comfortable while you rest, but it doesn’t undo heavy drinking, and the nurse will check you are well enough first.
A bridal party IV drip. Some brides and bridesmaids ask about our glutathione IV drip in Khao Lak as a treat before the big day. Please read that page first: we explain honestly what glutathione is and what it can and can’t be expected to do, and we don’t offer it for changing skin colour.
Price
Prices depend on which drips people choose and how many guests take part. Message us for the current price of each drip and to ask about group bookings for your wedding.
Who shouldn’t have a drip
A drip isn’t suitable for everyone. Tell the nurse if you are pregnant, have a heart or kidney condition, or take regular medication, and check with your own doctor first if you are unsure. A drip is not a reason to drink more, and it can’t make heavy drinking safe. If anyone at the wedding has chest pain, trouble breathing, confusion, fainting or signs of heatstroke, call 1669 or go to hospital straight away.
Wedding IV drip Khao Lak FAQs
Can you come to our wedding venue?
We visit hotels, villas and homes across our Khao Lak service area. Tell us where you and your guests are staying, and we will confirm what we can arrange.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can, especially in high season, when many weddings take place. Booking ahead makes it easier to plan around your schedule. Message us to check availability for your dates.
Can guests book separately?
Yes. Guests can book their own visits at their own hotel, or join a group session. Each person is screened individually either way.
Can the couple have a drip on the wedding morning?
It is possible, but we usually suggest the day before instead. The wedding morning is often the busiest part of the day, and leaving some time also lets any small mark at the needle site fade. If the morning is the only option, tell us your timings so the visit doesn’t clash with hair, make-up or photos.
Plan your wedding drips
Send us your dates, where you are staying and how many people are interested, and we will help you plan visits that fit around your celebrations.
