Group IV Drips in Khao Lak – Villas, Friends & Dive Groups

A group IV drip in Khao Lak means one booking for several people: registered nurses come to your villa, hotel or home and give each guest their own drip, in the same place and at a time that suits the group. It works well for friends on holiday, villa parties, families and dive groups who would rather recover together than take turns at a clinic. Every guest still has their own health screening, and a nurse stays with the group for the whole visit.

Who books a group IV drip

Khao Lak is a place people come to together. Groups of friends rent pool villas, families share a resort, and divers travel as a club to the Similan and Surin Islands. When several people in one place want a drip, it is simpler and calmer to book a single visit. These are the groups we hear from most:

  • Villa parties – birthdays, reunions and celebration weekends where the morning after is slower than planned
  • Friends on holiday – a few people sharing a hotel or neighbouring rooms who want to save the rest of the day
  • Dive groups – clubs and friends on Similan or Surin trips who feel dried out by sun, salt and early starts
  • Families and couples – adults travelling together who arrived tired after a long-haul flight or a hot day out
  • Wedding guests – friends and family staying near the venue before or after the celebrations

How a group visit works

A group visit follows the same steps as a single drip. The only real difference is planning: we need to know how many people, and roughly what each person wants, so we can bring the right supplies and enough nurses.

  1. One person books for the group. Tell us where you are staying, how many guests would like a drip and a preferred time. If people aren’t sure which drip suits them, that’s fine. The nurse can advise on the day.
  2. We plan the visit. We confirm the time, the price for the whole group and how many nurses will come. Larger groups may need more than one nurse, so please give us a realistic number.
  3. Everyone is screened individually. Each guest has a private health screening before their drip, with questions about health, medication and allergies, and a check of their vital signs. Not everyone in a group will be suitable, and the nurse will say so kindly and privately.
  4. The drips. Each person gets their own cannula and their own drip, using sterile, single-use equipment. Guests can relax on sofas, sun loungers in the shade or in bed while a nurse stays with the group throughout.
  5. Aftercare. Before leaving, the nurse removes each cannula, checks everyone over and gives simple advice: keep drinking water, eat something light and stay out of the midday sun.

We visit Bang Niang, Nang Thong, Khuk Khak, Pakarang Cape, Bang Sak, Khao Lak Lamru and Takua Pa. Message us to check availability and arrival time for your group, especially for weekend mornings and busy holiday dates.

Villa party IV drips

Many villa party IV drip bookings come the morning after a big night. If that sounds like your group, our hangover IV drip in Khao Lak is the one most people ask for. It offers fluids and electrolytes that may help people feel rehydrated sooner. It is not a hangover cure, and the nurse will be honest about what it can and can’t do.

One thing we take seriously at parties: a drip is not a way to sober anyone up. If a guest is still very drunk, is hard to wake, is confused, keeps vomiting or is breathing slowly, call 1669 or take them to hospital. The nurse won’t give a drip to someone who needs emergency care.

IV drips for friends and dive groups

Booking an IV drip for friends in Khao Lak doesn’t have to mean everyone has the same drip. Within one visit, one person might want simple hydration after too much sun, another might be jet-lagged and a third might only want a chat about whether a drip is worth it at all. Tell us what each person has in mind and we will plan around it.

Dive groups have one extra step. If anyone in your group is diving in the next day or two, they should tell the nurse during the screening. Hydration is sensible for divers, but a drip doesn’t make an unsafe dive safe. The nurse may suggest a diver speaks to their dive operator first. Anyone with joint pain, numbness, tingling, unusual tiredness or breathing problems after diving needs a doctor straight away, not a drip.

Group prices and discounts

Message us for group prices. Tell us how many guests and which drips you are interested in, and we will confirm the total before you book, so nobody has to work it out on the morning. You can compare individual drips on our IV drip price list for Khao Lak.

Who shouldn’t have a drip

Group bookings follow exactly the same safety rules as single visits. The nurse may decline or postpone a drip for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, has a heart or kidney condition, takes regular medication such as blood thinners or blood pressure tablets, or has allergies to any ingredient. Please don’t feel you have to join in because everyone else is. If you are unsure whether a drip is right for you, ask us before the visit.

Group booking FAQs

How many people can you look after in one visit?

It depends on the size of the group and on availability on the day. Tell us how many guests when you book, and we will plan enough nurses and time so that everyone is screened and watched properly.

Do we all have to have the same drip?

No. Each guest can choose their own drip, and the nurse checks it suits them during their screening. Some guests decide not to have a drip at all after talking it through, and that is fine.

Can more people join on the day?

Sometimes. Let us know as early as you can, because extra guests may need extra supplies or another nurse. We will tell you honestly whether we can fit them in.

Will the screening be private?

Yes. Each person’s health questions are asked one to one, away from the rest of the group where possible. Anything you share is used only to keep you safe.
