NAD+ IV therapy in Khao Lak means you don’t have to travel to Bangkok or Phuket for a NAD+ drip. A registered nurse comes to your hotel room, villa or home, screens your health first and stays with you for the whole infusion. NAD+ is one of the most talked-about drips in wellness, so we want to be clear from the start: research into what it does for healthy people is still emerging, and we don’t make anti-ageing or longevity promises.
What is NAD+?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a molecule found in every cell of your body. It helps cells turn food into usable energy and is involved in many everyday processes, including the repair of cell wear and tear. Your body makes its own NAD+, partly from forms of vitamin B3.

Because NAD+ is so central to how cells work, scientists are interested in whether topping it up could support health as we age. That interest is where much of the excitement around NAD+ drips comes from. The science, however, has not caught up with the marketing.
What the research shows so far
A 2025 review in the journal Nature Metabolism, NAD+ precursor supplementation in human ageing: clinical evidence and challenges, looked at the human studies so far. The authors found that, although animal studies look promising, human clinical trials of NAD+ precursors have shown limited efficacy. They also noted that evidence for NAD+ levels falling with age in humans comes from only a limited number of studies, and that more clinical research is needed.

That review focused mainly on NAD+ precursors, the building blocks the body turns into NAD+, rather than NAD+ given directly into a vein. Research on IV NAD+ in healthy people is even more limited. In plain terms:
- NAD+ is an important molecule, and this is an active area of research
- It has not been shown that a NAD+ drip slows ageing, extends life or reliably boosts energy
- Some people say they feel clearer or more energetic afterwards, but personal experience is not the same as proof
If you choose a NAD+ drip, we would like you to do it with realistic expectations.
Who a NAD+ drip in Khao Lak is for
Our NAD drip in Khao Lak may suit you if:
- You have had NAD+ drips before, at home or elsewhere in Asia, and would like one on holiday
- You are curious about NAD+ and understand the evidence is still emerging
- You are a resident or long-stay guest in Phang Nga who doesn’t want to travel to a city clinic
- You have a quiet afternoon free, as NAD+ drips are usually given slowly
What’s in the drip
NAD+ drips commonly contain NAD+ diluted in a bag of sterile IV fluid. Some providers add other vitamins. The nurse will tell you exactly what is in your drip, and the amount, before it starts.

- NAD+ – the molecule described above, given directly into a vein.
- IV fluids – a sterile salt-and-water solution that carries the NAD+ and helps with hydration.
How it works
- You ask. Message us first to check whether a NAD+ drip is available for your dates. We visit Bang Niang, Nang Thong, Khuk Khak, Pakarang Cape, Bang Sak, Khao Lak Lamru and Takua Pa.
- Health screening. The registered nurse asks about your health, medication, allergies and pregnancy and checks your vital signs. If NAD+ isn’t suitable for you, the nurse will say so.
- The drip. A small cannula goes into your arm using sterile, single-use equipment. NAD+ is usually given slowly. Some people notice flushing, a warm or tight feeling in the chest or stomach, nausea or a headache if it runs too fast, so the nurse adjusts the speed to how you feel. The nurse stays with you the whole time and will tell you in advance how long to set aside.
- Aftercare. The nurse removes the cannula and checks you over. Drink water, eat something and take it easy for the rest of the day.

Who shouldn’t have this drip
Because there is less research on NAD+ than on simple hydration drips, we take a cautious approach. The nurse may decline or postpone your drip if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a heart condition, kidney or liver disease or high blood pressure, or have been told to limit fluids
- Have cancer or are having cancer treatment, unless your specialist has agreed
- Take regular medication, especially for heart, blood pressure, diabetes or mental health conditions
- Have allergies to any ingredient or to medicines in general
- Feel unwell, have a fever, or have been drinking heavily
When to see a doctor instead. Ongoing tiredness, low mood, memory problems or a lack of energy that doesn’t lift with rest are worth discussing with a doctor, as they can have medical causes that need proper tests. A NAD+ drip is not a substitute for that. During or after any drip, call 1669 or go to hospital if you have chest pain that doesn’t settle, difficulty breathing, fainting or swelling of the face, lips or tongue.
NAD+ IV therapy Khao Lak FAQs
Will a NAD+ drip make me look or feel younger?
We can’t promise that, and nobody honestly can. Research on NAD+ and ageing is still emerging, and human trials so far have shown limited results. Some people enjoy how they feel after a drip, but experiences vary.
Why does a NAD+ drip take longer than other drips?
NAD+ is usually given slowly because running it fast can cause uncomfortable sensations such as flushing, chest tightness or nausea. The nurse adjusts the speed to keep you comfortable, so it is worth keeping the rest of that part of your day free. Message us for the expected duration.
Is a NAD+ drip available in Phang Nga outside Khao Lak?
Our nurses cover the Khao Lak area, from Khao Lak Lamru up to Bang Sak and Takua Pa. If you are looking for a NAD+ drip in Phang Nga elsewhere, message us with your location and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
Can I have NAD+ with another drip?
Ask the nurse. Whether to combine drips, and on which day, depends on your health screening and what you are hoping for.
